Small print: Privacy

Best Scotland is an independent travel publication. Your trip builder answers are stored in your own browser for the length of your visit. We don't need an account and we don't ask for one.

What we don't collect

There are no visitor accounts on this site, and no payments are taken here. We don't ask for your name, address or card details, and we never sell personal data.

Your trip plan

The answers you give the trip builder — days, starting city, interests, pace — stay in your own browser for the length of your visit. They aren't sent to us or saved against you. Close the tab and they're gone.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages and itineraries people find useful. It records things like pages visited, rough location, device and browser — not your identity. We use it to make the guide better, nothing else.

Links to booking partners

Some links take you to booking partners such as GetYourGuide. Those links carry a tracking code so the partner knows the visit came from us. Once you're on their site, their own privacy policy applies — not ours.
