How this works

Best Scotland is an independent travel publication with no company, tour operator or tourist board behind it. Where we link to experiences to book or places to stay, those links may be affiliate links with booking partners such as GetYourGuide. If you book through one, we may receive a small commission.

It costs you nothing extra

You pay exactly the same price as you would going direct. The commission comes out of the partner's side, not yours. Affiliate links are always labelled where they appear.

It doesn't change our advice

The trip planner works out your route, your driving times and what won't fit — and it never looks at whether a place earns us anything. If somewhere isn't worth your time, we leave it out, and we'll happily tell you to skip something we could have earned from. That's the whole point of this site.
